NSW Illegal Logging Sessions

Information about the Commonwealth Department of Agriculture’s upcoming illegal logging information sessions in New South Wales. These sessions are proudly supported by the North Coast Forests' Taskforce. Details are:

Tuesday, 8 October 2013 – Grafton

Grafton Serviceman’s Club, 105-107 Mary Street, Grafton. 11:00am – 1:00pm - Information session for processors

Wednesday, 9 October 2013 – Eden

Eden Fishermans Recreation Club, 217 Imlay Street, Eden. 11:00am – 1:00pm - Information session for processors

The sessions are intended to provide an update on the Illegal Logging Prohibition Amendment Regulation 2013 (the Regulation), including the due diligence requirements for Australian timber processors. Questions about how this applies to importers of regulated timber products and brokers can also be answered at these sessions. The forums will include a presentation and allow for general discussion and questions.
